Where has the time gone?

Today I’m now carrying a two month old baby girl, and also making sure my almost two year old son is eating his snacks instead of playing with them. My husband is rearranging furniture downstairs, in the new home we moved into last month.

The last time I posted about motherhood, my son was 8 months old.

In the blink of an eye, I realize how much of life is the simple moments. Each milestone-- having a baby, buying a house-- opens up life to more experiences and adventures we can share with others who have gone through the same.

Life is simpler than the big stories and headlines, but it’s the “normal” moments that we don’t talk about as often. We take them for granted, but those are the most honest and purest moments of life.

I’ve lived a lot of my life for the big stories, seeking the experiences that will tell my story. Now I’ve learned to fall in love with the minutes, hours, days of life. In the blink of an eye, a new experience unfolds.
